In a shocking and brazen act of criminality, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), its allied mercenary groups, and its terrorist militias linked to the former regime have embarked on a dangerous campaign to destroy the public infrastructure so vital to the Sudanese people. On Monday, these forces carried out indiscriminate aerial bombardments on the El Fasher Electricity Power Station, resulting in its complete destruction and causing widespread power outages across the city.

This act of sabotage is a deliberate attempt to destabilize the region by targeting critical infrastructure. It exemplifies the scorched-earth policy implemented by the SAF and its extremist patrons from the former regime in the wake of their repeated failures to confront our valiant Rapid Support Forces (RSF) soldiers on the battlefield.

Meanwhile, the SAF's allied mercenaries continue to inflict misery on the people of El Fasher, using civilians as human shields and coercing them to remain in the city. This brutal strategy is no more than a means for the SAF and its terrorist brethren to sacrifice the lives of unarmed women and children after displacing half of Darfur's population into refugee camps, killing countless others, and committing heinous crimes against innocent citizens.

While the RSF continues to repel repeated attacks by the terror-driven opposing force, civilians in the city's residential neighborhoods suffer from devastating airstrikes that have killed dozens of innocent people and destroyed homes, burying families under the rubble. The SAF-aligned mercenary groups have remained silent, failing to issue any statements condemning the indiscriminate aerial bombardments that are killing their own people. Instead, we witness the mercenary Minni Arko Minnawi engaging in deception and manipulation in favor of the executioners, showcasing the worst chapter of moral decadence humanity has witnessed.

The concealment of Minawi's mercenaries and SAF militia members among civilians in El Fasher is a crime against humanity and a human rights violation. This tactic reveals their desperation against our courageous forces, who remain determined to defend and liberate our country from terrorism and fanaticism. With steadfast patience and resolve, we are committed to building a new Sudan founded on justice, freedom, peace, and democracy.
